Mitchell Williams put the #54 truck in victory lane at Homestead-Miami Speedway on Friday night, taking the Round 16 win in the ATC Truck Series after leading 27 of 95 laps in a race that saw 14 lead changes across a 34-truck field. Williams started fourth and moved to the front in a race where the lead exchanged hands frequently, with #40 Phillip Brewer — who started second — leading 26 laps of his own and ultimately settling for fourth at the checkered flag. Joshua Aultice in the #94 crossed second after leading 12 laps from his third starting spot, while pole sitter Jordan Traas in the #79 — who led 9 laps — dropped two positions from where he started and rounded out the podium in third. Four cautions slowed the field for 12 laps total, and nine drivers completed the 95-lap distance without a single incident.

The hard charger award belonged to #45 Tyler Bowling, who gained 21 positions across 95 laps to finish sixth after starting 27th. Bowling did so with zero incidents on his scorecard, crossing the line ahead of #80 Noah Blackwell — who led 15 laps from his ninth starting spot — to cap one of the most impressive runs of the evening. Two other notable movers were #77 Alex Forrest, who climbed 11 spots from P21 to finish tenth, and #65 Larry Millard, who charged from P33 to finish sixteenth. On the other end of the chart, #69 Todd Parent fell 23 positions from his eleventh starting spot to finish last among the 34-truck field.

For Williams, this was his first win of the 2026 ATC Truck Series season — his third all-time in the series — and it comes at a significant moment heading deeper into the schedule. The result, however, does not alter the playoff standings picture dramatically at the top, where Jordan Traas holds the points lead with 199, a 23-point advantage over #74 Ian Blanchard in second at 176. Trevor Brownlee's #75 sits third at 166 points, with Alex Forrest's strong tenth-place run from P21 keeping the #77 fourth at 162 points. Charles Van Schaick rounds out the top five at 159 points after gaining 12 positions to finish fifth, leaving the title fight tightly contested with Traas holding a cushion but the gap between second and fifth sitting at just 17 points.
