Jordan Traas turned in a result that will sting for Bryce Shoemaker long after Friday night's checkered flag at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park. Shoemaker's #25 truck led 126 of 140 laps from the second starting position, controlling the race through eight cautions and 32 caution laps, only to finish second as Traas brought the #79 home in victory lane. Traas, who started from the pole, led just 14 laps — the ones that counted most — to secure his fourth win of the season and 12th all-time in ATC Truck Series competition. With three lead changes across the 140-lap distance, the race came down to track position at the critical moment, and Traas had it when the field crossed the stripe.

Ian Blanchard delivered a strong showing for the #74 team, advancing three positions from his sixth starting spot to claim third place. For Blanchard, the podium finish carries significant weight in the standings, and it came despite the race being far from clean — four cautions laps charged incidents across his truck throughout the evening. Fourth went to #75 Trevor Brownlee, who slipped one position from his third-place starting spot and logged a difficult night with 12 incidents on the books. #77 Alex Forrest rounded out the top five after charging forward seven positions from his 12th starting spot.

The hard charger award belonged to #56 Chad Garcia, who gained 13 positions across the race's 140 laps. Starting 22nd in the 26-car field, Garcia navigated the incident-heavy evening — eight cautions brought out across the race — to finish ninth, a run that required patience, clean execution in traffic, and timing through the caution periods that reshaped the running order repeatedly through the night.

The standings entering round nine show Trevor Brownlee holding the points lead at 222 after his fourth-place result, but the gap is far from comfortable. Blanchard's podium pushed him to 215 points, just seven back, meaning the #74 team leaves Indianapolis Raceway Park as the most serious threat to Brownlee's position at the top. Traas sits third at 199, and with four wins already this season, a single strong run could vault him into contention. Mitchell Williams, who fell six positions to finish tenth, slips to fourth at 191 points, with Patrick Camburn right behind at 188. The five-team fight for the top of the ATC Truck Series standings remains very much alive heading into the second half of the schedule.
