Jordan Traas captured his second victory of the ATC Truck Series season at Lime Rock Park, converting his pole position into a commanding 35-lap performance over the 45-lap distance. Starting from the front row, Traas controlled the majority of the race despite two lead changes, ultimately holding off a charging Nate Lesko who advanced eight positions from his tenth-place starting spot to finish second. Charles Van Schaick rounded out the podium in third after leading 10 laps early in the race, though he slipped one position from his second-place grid slot.
The race ran caution-free across all 45 laps, allowing for uninterrupted green-flag racing that showcased both strategic positioning and raw speed. Lesko's drive to second place represented one of several impressive forward charges through the field, while Tyler Starcher also moved up seven spots from eleventh to fourth. Van Schaick's third-place finish marked his first podium appearance in the series, complementing a race where he demonstrated early pace by leading a significant portion of the opening stages.
Justin Frazier earned hard charger honors by advancing nine positions from fourteenth to fifth, a performance that proves crucial to his championship aspirations. His fifth-place finish elevates him to third in the standings with 87 points, just one point behind second-place Mitchell Williams who managed only an eleventh-place result after starting ninth. The race proved costly for several contenders, including Matthew Pponczocha who dropped eight positions from fourth to twelfth after accumulating 10 incidents.
Despite his victory, Traas remains fourth in the championship hunt with 84 points, trailing leader Trevor Brownlee by 12 points. Brownlee maintained his points advantage with a seventh-place finish, holding steady from his starting position to preserve his cushion at the top. With Frazier's strong performance moving him within nine points of the lead and Williams struggling, the championship battle tightens considerably heading into round four of the series.
