Mitchell Williams captured his first ATC Dirt Double Header championship in dramatic fashion at Lanier National Speedway, holding off Jordan Traas in a thrilling season finale that saw just one lead change across 40 caution-free laps. Starting from the pole position he earned, Williams led the opening portion of the race before Traas took command and paced the field for 34 laps, setting up a tense battle for both the race win and series title.

The championship fight came down to the wire as Traas controlled the majority of the race distance from the runner-up starting spot, building what appeared to be a commanding advantage. However, Williams managed to reclaim the lead in the closing stages, holding on for the final six laps to secure both his first series victory and the season championship. Traas, despite leading 34 of the 40 laps, had to settle for second place and the runner-up position in the final standings.

Zachary Mullen delivered the performance of the night, charging from fifth on the grid to claim the final podium position and earn hard charger honors with his two-position advance. The #49 driver navigated the small but competitive five-car field cleanly, joining Williams and Sean Timothy as one of three drivers to avoid incidents entirely. Timothy slipped one spot from his third-place start to finish fourth, while Justin Frazier rounded out the field in fifth after dropping one position from his fourth-place starting spot.

With this being the season finale and no races remaining, Williams' victory sealed the ATC Dirt Double Header title in the closest possible fashion, overcoming Traas' dominant performance to claim the championship hardware when it mattered most.
